Loan Detail Data Review and Maintenance Instructions
The Loan Detail Data Review and Maintenance Instructions explain how to retrieve a loan and review and/or modify loan data using the MITAS Internet Loan Reservation System.  These instructions are made up of the following sections:

 Loan Detail Screen
The Loan Detail screen shows you the basic information about a loan.  From this screen you can also access other data entry screens, access a document printing screen, cancel an application, and import data electronically (using the Fannie Mae® MORNETPlus® Desktop Underwriter® interface).

The Loan Detail screen is accessed from the Main Menu or from the Pipeline Loan Statuses screen.  If you have accessed the Loan Detail screen from the Main Menu, to view a loan, input the Housing Finance Agency loan number following the "Retrieve a Loan:" prompt and click Retrieve.  If you have accessed the Loan Detail screen from the Pipeline Loan Statuses screen, the loan data is displayed on the Loan Detail screen.  To view a different loan, either input the Housing Finance Agency loan number and click Retrieve or click Back on your browser to return to the Pipeline Loan Statuses screen to choose from a list of loans within a status/funding source.  A sample Loan Detail screen is shown below.

Beneath the Loan Detail screen title is a section containing menu options.  To choose one of these menu options, click on the corresponding menu option name (for example, Print Documents).  You will either be taken to a new screen or perform a function (such as cancel a loan application).
Print Documents Choose this menu option to access the Print Documents screen.

Loan Application Choose this menu option to access the Loan Application screen.

Reserve Second Choose this menu option to reserve a second loan mortgage.

Cross-Reference Choose this menu option to cross-reference for a loan by Mortgagor Last Name.

Status Choose this menu option to modify the status of the loan.  (This option is only available to certain users such as Issuers or Servicers.)

Conditions Choose this menu option to add or modify the outstanding non-compliance conditional items for this loan.  (This option is only available to certain users such as Issuers or Servicers.)

Retrieve a Loan Loan number for which you would like to retrieve loan data.  Click the button after you have input the loan number to retrieve the data.

Loan Amount Original dollar amount money lent for a mortgage loan excluding interest is displayed for this loan.

Interest Rate Rate, expressed as a percentage, at which Interest is calculated for this loan is displayed.

Purchase Price Total purchase price the mortgagor has agreed to pay for the property is displayed.

Issuer Identifies the funding source.

Bond Issue/Program Further identification of the funding source.

Underwriter Agent responsible for reviewing a loan application package, verifying the data, and approving the loan.

Closer Agent responsible for approving the funding for a mortgage loan.

Lender Code that identifies the originator of the loan. Definition of "Originator" is user-defined, e.g. Branch Office, Loan Officer, District Office, etc.

Property Address of the property for which this loan is secured.

Mortgagor Name Mortgagor and Co-Mortgagor's first name, middle initial, and last name is displayed.

Social Security Number Mortgagor and Co-Mortgagor's social security number is displayed.

Loan Status User defined tracking status to which this loan belongs as a part of the Loan Pipeline is displayed.

(Loan Status) Date Date on which this loan entered the user defined tracking status is displayed.

Unsatisfied Conditions Items contingent to the mortgagor meeting certain requirements are displayed.  MITAS refers to these unsatisfied contingencies as conditions.

(Unsatisfied Conditions) Requested Date on which the requirements to fulfill the condition were requested by the Housing Finance Agency.

(Unsatisfied Conditions) Due Target date by which the Housing Finance Agency is requesting the condition be fulfilled.

(Other Mortgages) Loan Amount If another mortgage is associated with this mortgagor, the amount of that mortgage is displayed.

(Other Mortgages) Interest Rate If another mortgage is associated with this mortgagor, the interest rate of that mortgage is displayed.

(Other Mortgages) Term in Months If another mortgage is associated with this mortgagor, the term of that mortgage is displayed.

 Data Review and Maintenance
If you would like to review and/or modify loan data, follow these steps:
  1. Retrieve the loan you would like to review/modify following instructions in the Loan Detail Screen section.
  2. Choose the Eligibility menu option to access the Eligibility data entry screen or choose the Loan Application menu option to access the Loan Application data entry screens.
  3. Input missing data or modify existing data in the appropriate data entry fields.
  4. Click the Submit button when you have completed reviewing and/or modifying the loan data.
  5. The loan is submitted to the System and the data is verified against the compliance requirements.
